I have a fender squier. The nut to adjust the truss rod is gone. where can I get one? Would a strat nut work??
l bought a used FenderSquier at a garage sale. the original owner had
removed the nut to adjust the truss rod, and the neck warped. Now the
guitar is mine, and l want a nut to put back in and attempt to fix it.
I've looked, and l do not know if the part is the same for Squiers and
good ol' Strats or if l need to find a Squier specific part. Any help,
friends?
Hi, Russell! I am not sure I understand why the original owner
would have removed the nut to adjust the truss rod, as the nut itself is
where you actually make the adjustment. Nonetheless, I believe the nut
would most likely be the same for either Fender or Squier by Fender
Stratocasters. If you check with the good folks at Stewart-MacDonald at
